At the end of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Katniss and Peeta’s romance ended rather abruptly: She got whisked out of the Arena, while he was kidnapped by the Capitol for god-knows-what. Several new clips from Mockingjay, Part 1 allow fans to piece together Katniss’ first look at Peeta in the new movie, once he’s creepily dressed all in-white as some sort of emissary for President Snow.
Lionsgate debuted this clip today, in which Katniss, Gale, and the rest of District 13 get their lunches rudely interrupted by a Capitol broadcast. Of course Caesar Flickerman is in on the scheme, presenting Peeta as if this were yet another pre-Games chat instead of Peeta sending a message to the rebels:

Those who have read the books know what’s going on with Peeta. We won’t spoil it, but clearly things are not right.
